Job Description:
Teach up to 4 sections of physics classes, including lectures and labs; provide tutoring, office hours, lab management services, and perform other duties as assigned in the Learning Center or for the School of Arts & Sciences, for a total of 25 hours per week. As lab instructor, work closely with class instructor to conform to lab expectations and requirements. Set up lab equipment for experiments. Review and test current equipment and recommend replacement as needed. Review lab manuals and recommend revision as needed.
Requirements:
Must have a master's degree in Physics or science-related discipline, experience teaching college-level physics classes or labs (including calculus-based sequence), demonstrated familiarity with laboratory equipment for advanced physics classes.
